In the long hot days of summer when the sky is clear blue and the garden is magnificent. The heady scent of rose and honeysuckle fills the air. Dogs sleep in the shade and pheasants chase each other around the garden, the ducks splash around the ponds and the birds are rearing their young. If you are really lucky the snakes come out and take in the sun much to the Blackbird's annoyance. The light evenings bring the owl and his family for their supper, they silently swoop though the orchard. Summer brings many wonders old and new.
